Meet Jacob Rice

Blending the influences of Old Dominion, Train, and Billy Currington, Jacob Rice has carved out his own lane in modern pop country — pairing conversational songwriting with an energetic, charismatic live show.

His music has earned more than one million streams and placements on major Spotify editorial playlists including All New Country, Fresh Finds, and New From Nashville. In 2025, Rice signed his first publishing deal with Mucho Love Music, adding another milestone to a career built equally on songwriting and performing.

Rice was recently selected for Zac Brown’s Same Boat experience, with Brown calling him “the real deal.” Following a nationwide casting call and live auditions in Nashville, Rice will perform as a featured headliner aboard the 2027 Same Boat cruise in partnership with Margaritaville at Sea.

Rice’s career began gaining national momentum after winning the Middle Tennessee region of Tennessee Songwriters Week in 2022 with his song “I Will Remember.” He was subsequently named a Listening Room Cafe Unsigned Artist to Watch, recognized as a Rising Artist by The Bluebird Cafe during its 40th anniversary celebration, and selected for BMI’s Next Big Wave.

Along the way, Rice has shared stages with artists including Jake Owen, Love & Theft, and Jeffrey Steele, while also joining Red Street recording artist and hit songwriter Ryan Larkins on the road during Priscilla Block’s Hey Jack national tour. He has appeared at renowned songwriter events including the Key West and Annapolis Songwriters Festivals.
